On February 5th the President of EuroCOP Heinz Kiefer visited the Czech Republic with the main purpose to talk to the Interior Minister Ivan Langer about the present police situation.
The President of EuroCOP also met with the former Interior Minister Frantisek Bublan and the Police President Vladislav Husák. He also paid a visit to local Police Stations in Prague and in Pilsen to see what improvements have been made since the last time EuroCOP visited the Czech Republic, which was in connection with the EuroCOP Enlargement Conference, which took place in Prague in May 2006.
