commitment to the highest standards in fulfilling the role of police officers as
set out in the mission statement is critical for the quality of a democratic
society. Citizens moving freely in the EU should meet the same high professional
standards for policing across the EU.
This means that EuroCOP commits itself to
a high level of police performance, high standards of police ethics, codes of
conduct and other essential regulations.
