Policing in Europe

Freedom of movement for citizens in the EU also means free movement of crime. This poses a challenge to police services in all EU member states. Police cooperation in the EU is rapidly developing and has already started to change the way policing works.

EuroCOP has to cover a wide range of developments in the field of police cooperation in Europe, its institutions and rules for cross-border cooperation. In addition larger events with implications for European cooperation in general, i.e. the enlargement of the EU have to be taken into account.
